Hi Everybody! The news about Christmas is at the bottom, but give me a minute, I just have to catch you up on something… No, first let us thank you all…Many of you have sent an email just to give us moral support because of the stand we’ve taken with the “Down To The Farm” video, many of you have ordered our CD’s, etc., and all of it has meant a lot to us and kept us going through months of heavy traveling, busy beyond strength/mental capacityJ answering hundreds of emails coming in, etc. Each email, and I mean each one, has touched our hearts and lifted us up. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts… Now, most of you probably didn’t realize that Lewis & Lewis had to take our original video of “Down To The Farm” off youtube and Godtube for a short spell. We are not at liberty to give you the details…yet… In the meantime, a few other folks had made copies of ours and put them on their spot on youtube and they’re still there. We appreciate these folks taking a stand with us. As you know, underneath any video on youtube there’s a place where you can make a comment about it. Underneath one of the above copies there’s a comment from someone that doesn’t like us that says, “At least we got Lewis & Lewis banned from youtube.” I had to laugh at that. No, we weren’t banned from youtube. We took it down ourselves to change a couple of photos in the original video. As I said, can’t give details yet, but it has been a very serious matter. We’re sooooooooooooooooooo excited to tell you that – finally – the video is ready to go around the20world again! You all helped us before and now we need you to help us again!!! Just look up there and read that sentence again where the comment said, “At least we got Lewis & Lewis banned from youtube.” That might not make you as mad at the devil as it does me, but I’m thinking, “Who do ‘they’ think they are! When it’s in God’s plan, it can’t be stopped by man!” (That’s a line in a song that Ray sings, and it’s so true.) And for those of you that might’ve read our story about this song, you know that from the beginning it has been a “God thing.”
If you should go to youtube.com on your own without our link, OUR video is on about page 5 right now. Be sure that you see our username, "rayandlauralewis", and you'll know it's our new one.
(Guess what…We’ve had a report that one gay person gave his heart to the Lord! Yep, turned his life around! You see, if one song helps one soul, it’s so worth it! That’s what this is all about! )Now here’s a little more news…In our Online Store page of our website, we now have the chorus of “Down To The Farm” available for a ringtone for your phone!!! Many asked for it and now it’s there. We wanted to get all this news to everybody weeks before this about the video, ringtone, and the Christmas song I’m going to tell you about, but the video wasn’t ready and I didn’t have the time to email everybody twice and I know that everybody else has time limits, too.Now about Christmas news…Ray is singing the most unusual Christmas song this season…It’s called “Prayer From A Tavern”. (You just have to hear it!) It’s so powerful that – a few weeks ago when w e were doing a radio program, after they played that song a man called in (right then) and ordered 17 copies!!! He said he was getting one for each of his children and grands! And everywhere we’ve sung during November and December, folks have been blessed and make sure they take the CD home with them. It’s on our “Christmas With You” CD on the Online Store page of our website. It’s the #11 song. Also the #1 song on that CD is also a recitation called “Christmas, 1954” which has been played on most Country and Gospel stations for several years now during the Holiday Season, and it tells a story about a family that had some hard times back in 1954, and how God sent them a miracle during the night on Christmas Eve. As a matter of a fact, we have a video of that song on youtube, too, and the link to it is below for you!!! We have it also on DVD on our website Online Store page.Again, I know Christmas is getting close, but these two songs make you shed a tear of joy all year long. Many pastors ask Ray to do them during the year, even in July! J We wish for each one of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2009!Just wanted to let you know that1- Down To The Farm revised video is ready to travel again,2- Ringtone of chorus to “Down To The Farm” is available3- “Prayer From A Tavern” and “Christmas 1954” – touching songs!AND4- Other videos with songs - Us Two BumsJust As Sure AsI’m A Winner Either WayWalking Back DownGod Put It All Together Thank each one of you for your time and for your help. We might not know each other personally, but we know what it means to help each other, don’t we! Ray has a song called, “Reach Out & Touch Somebody” that he wrote ‘way back in the 80’s before AT & T came out with the slogan, and the chorus says,“Reach out and touch somebody as you walk along Life’s roadSometimes a word or a friendly smile will lift a heavy loadYou’ll feel so much better knowing that you’ve helped, And who knows…Someday you may need a little help yourself.”
God bless!Laura (and Ray) Lewis
