Please pray for
Lotie Mattox;
There has been a mass that has shown up in a Cat Scan earlier this week. We will be finding out the results of a PET Scan later next week. God has brought us through this past year and He will not fail now. I will be praying at my church on Monday from 7-8 PM.; as I do each week. Also I pray just before I go to work at 11:30 each evening. Pray always; but if you remember these times pray with me then where ever you are and we will touch the Hem of Jesus' garment.

Just an update:

Lotie is feeling better. Her pain is less than it was: she is able
to tolerate it with only regular non-narcotic meds.
My sister and I will be taking her to see the surgeon next Wed; keep praying
the mass will be able to be removed and be benighn. God is working. We are praying each day. thank you all for continuing to pray with us. I will print off the responses. They will be a great encouragement.

Update on Lotie;

Thank you everyone; mom says she appreciates your prayers and encouragement.
God has been working in every aspect of my moms, my sisters and my own lives and situation.
The surgeon (Dr. Moshtoghi) Has said there is a fluid filled mass and gahl stones--which may be causing most of the pain--that will need to be removed. Pray that all will be benign.

I still hold the prayer time at my church each Monday from 7-8 PM and pray speciffically for this matter each nght before going to work at 11;30 or so. if you remember these time and the lord lays it onyour heart: please join me in prayer.
A surgery is scheduled for Thursday April 1st; probably in the morning. Thank you for your support and prayer. God has brought us through and I have no doubt He will be faithful from now on.

Latest Update on Lotie;

Thank you for your prayer support:
Lotie was out of surgery @ around 11:30, the Dr. says she is doing fine
and she will be feeling better in a few days.
The mass was a recurrence of cancer, all visible signs were able to be removed,
and Gahl stones. Chemo is a possibility at this point. Mom will be in
ICU for at least one day: I will let you know when she is in a room.
God is working. He has guided each part of the process in more ways
than I can ever tell you.
keep praying, this is the beginning of a more extended recovery.

It is not the circumstances and events that makes one stronger, but assurance
which becomes ever so increasingly prevalent deep in the heart of us who
continually, gradually and consistently place our hope, and our lives, in
the hands of Jesus. It is He who works and moves in our world and lives.
His hands bear the evidence of love, compassion, experience, strength, knowlege
our state of humanity and willingness to go to the limit to bring us through.

This Easter, read Galatians 3:26-27 and its context and realize the privilige, the
honor; but the awesome responsibility, the sobering reality of being the
representation, extension and conductor to a world of, 'potential freed from
sin people,' of the life changing/saving power of Christ's resurrection.

Lotie is getting stronger.

She is still very weak from the surgery.
The effects of the pain medicine are still causing some
tiredness and confusion.
She will probably be going to Logan Elm health Care
for rehabilitation in the next couple of days.
God is guiding and working. Continue to pray.
I still hold theprayer time each Monday and pray specifically
for this matter each night at 11:30 before work.

Lotie: UPDATE 04/09/2010

Lotie is doing much better today; thankyou for your prayers.
she is much more alert, but still weak. The effects of the pain medicene
and the extended hospital stay are going away.
She will be here a couple more days and then to rehab for a while.
Mom said to tell you all, "she appreciates your prayers and she
is feeling much better."

Just wanted to let everybody know that Lotie is getting stronger every day.

She will be coming home in a week or so; PS: if anyone
that is here locally would have the time to come and hang out
or help for any amount of time she could use the company
and the help: there will still be a few weeks of recovery at home.

Please continue to pray for healing, strength, patience and endurance.
I am believing God for a full recovery. It is Jesus who has brought us
this far and He will take us on through.
